Welcome to Room 17 Classroom Blog.  This is a new endeavor for me, so hang in there with me as I learn the ins and outs of blogging!

My name is Angie Horvath, and I have been teaching pre-kindergarteners since 1985.  I can not imagine working in any other field than education; I love watching children grow and blossom in the time they spend with me.  I am married to Gary and have two amazing children: Nicole, who was born in 1998, and Levi, who was born in 2001.  I have both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Illinois State University, and continue to take classes online.   I love to read and play on the computer.
